Biographical

Judge Webster strongly believes in the mediation process and has enjoyed significant success in resolving a wide variety of civil cases in her more than 38 years of experience as a lawyer and judge.

Judge Webster served on the bench in DuPage County, Illinois for more than 21 years, spending over half of that tenure as Presiding Judge of the Law Division. She was instrumental in creating the DuPage Court Annexed Civil Mediation Program and served as its Supervising Judge for 10 years.

Judge Webster was certified as a trained mediator by the National Judicial College in 2004, completing the Advanced Mediation Program in 2010. She successfully mediated cases sent to her from other Law Division and Chancery Judges. She assisted in the resolution of numerous multi-million dollar personal injury and contract cases, and other matters including employment, sex abuse, construction, probate/estate disputes, municipal, trade secret, products liability, class action, F.E.L.A., partnership disputes, declaratory judgment, medical malpractice, accounting malpractice, dental malprtactice, and other professional liability matters.

Education

Judge Webster is an honors graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she received her B.S. in Journalism, was a varsity letter winner on the women’s Interscholastic Tennis Team,and served as an editor of the Yearbook. She received her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Webster is also a graduate of the National Judicial College, receiving certification in Judicial Development and General Jurisdiction Trial Skills. She served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John A. Nordberg in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
